Swiss Airlines Flight Change Policy

If you wish to change your flight for any reason, you may do so under the Swiss Airlines flight change policy. To change your flight, you will have to fulfil the terms and conditions. You may change your flight without incurring extra charges, but there is only one condition: your flight change request should be sent within 24 hours after the ticket is purchased. Whereas, if you have refundable tickets, you can change your flight at any time before your departure date, and the airline will not charge you a flight change fee.

Swiss Airlines will provide you with more options for flight changes, such as visiting the website, connecting with a live agent, or arriving at the airline office.    

• First step, visit the Swiss Airlines website and redirect the “Manage Booking” option.
• Under the Manage Booking tab, you must enter your needed information, including your last name and Swiss flight reservation code. 
• After that, go to the search bar and select your booked flight.
• Now, you will have to choose a new flight based on your travel plans. 
• You may also change your class type during the rescheduled flight. 
• Swiss Airlines will charge you a flight change fee, which depends on your flight change period.    

Swiss Airlines flight change fee 

The Swiss Airlines flight change fee depends on your fare type. As per the flight change policy, there are no fixed charges for the flight changes. However, you can change your Swiss flight free of charge if you change your flight within the 24-hour allotted period. When your risk-free period expires, the flight change fee will apply to you according to your changes. Swiss Airlines will charge you a fare difference if you book your new flight at a more expensive price than the original booking.

Swiss Airlines Same Day flight change

Swiss Airlines permits you to make changes to your reservation on the same day of departure. If you purchase a Business or Economic Flexible ticket, there is no need to pay a same-day flight change fee. Other passengers will have to pay the same-day flight change fee, which depends on their fare type. You may make the same-day changes on your reservation by phone or through the “Manage Booking” option.
